Trivial Question, 3.6 Turbo

What engine case does the 1994 Turbo 3.6 use? Same as the 3.3 or 964?

964C2T3.6 uses the 3.3L 930 engine with larger P/C to increase the displacement to 3.6L. Also uses the same CIS system which is last year for that as well.

Both the 964 3.3 and 3.6 have unique cases in addition to many other unique parts
The reason I know is I needed one of each

Is the 964 3.3 case different from 930 3.0/3.3 cases? If yes, how so if you don't mind sharing its differences.

There are many unique parts but I don't believe the case is unique, other than the type number. It may have been modified to fit some accessories however the reason for using this engine was to reduce costs associated with adapting a turbo to the 964 engine and fuel injection system.

964 uses a crank sensor no provision for that on 930 case at the least
