Install front IROC bumper custom grill X-Faktory
I recently installed an IROC front bumper (and a rear FG bumper) I purchased from a NJ Pelican. Bumper was a good fit but had challenges (fabrication of attachment points, for example).
Called X-Faktory to inquire about a matching grill for the oil cooler vent opening. Intend to install a front cooler at some point so until then, and maybe after a cooler is installed, (have to search that) using this grill, which matches material used in other grills available from X-Faktory. Here's a few photos showing install method. Any suggestions to improve it or alternate methods to mount welcome. To attach, made 6 "customized" hardware store L brackets. Made one hole oblong to allow for line up of bolt going through grill from front. And shortened one side cuz they were too long to start. Used a grinder. ![]() Back side attachment and front views, installed ![]() ![]() Detail of attachment as seen from the front. Washers could be black I suppose. But these were available in the garage. ![]() This was during a test drive on local PA roads, some smooth and some not so smooth. So good to get the car back on the road and enjoy it. The grill stayed in place - no movement. ![]()

Frank, i don't really sell the material, but if you were to email me the dimensions, or better yet, provide a template, i could certainly make one for you.
regards, al

Frank - no problem! Comments good. I’m also on the Main Line - exploring Chester County roads and local C&C (Chester Springs, West Chester). I wish that hood was CF (as I seek to make the car lighter…) but it’s FG - still lighter vs steel.
