Turn Signal Switch Issue
The last couple of times I've driven my Targa at night I've noticed the common issue of the high beams coming on after using the turn signals, even when the stalk isn't clicked forward to activate them. I light pull on the stalk turns them off, and I've seen threads on bending the contacts and I'm going to tackle that this weekend.
I've got a Momo steering wheel on the car. Is it possible for me to access the switch contacts without taking off the wheel? Can I remove the trim pieces surrounding the steering column and get to the contacts? Thanks!

Wheel has to come off to get to the screws behind it that hold the clam shells in place.

This is a common issue. I had the same issue. The contacts in the turnsignal/high beam stalk need to be adjusted. There is a good thread here that describes what to do.
