Upgrade to ecu with lambda
Good evening..
My air-cooled original 3.2L does not have a lambda but it is ready with a plug in the electrical to the engine and there is a connection to the plug that is in my ecu. Will a lambda work if I get a chip that is for a 3.2 L with motronic ecu who uses lambda work or do I have to replace my motronic ecu ?? Bent |

Sounds like you just need an O2 sensor on the exhaust.
Motronic is lambda based so yeah, that ECU works. |

Can it be that easy ...............
What if you have 3.2 with defective lambda, is it just to pull out the plug and everything works as it should again ? Bent |

Something a little less simple but possibly more userful:
You might consider installing a wideband O2 sensor and gauge instead of the regular O2 sensor. Many of the wideband gauges also have a programmable output for lambda. This would allow you to both monitor operation and tweak the lambda output if needed. |
