993 vs 930 Conversion
It seems that many people are doing 993 engine conversions. I've seen one or two people on this site that have done a 930 conversion. Why aren't more people doing 930 conversions?
Which is the better way to go? What are the Pro's and Con's comparing one to another? |

993 = monster torque + better drivability + lower maintence cost + longer longivity + newer technology + better MPG.

There seems to be a greater supply of 3.6's around in low-mileage good condition that can be installed without much work done to them. There is also a perception of the 3.6 being a less complex system to install and maintain than a turbo.

I think perceptions are like opinions. Where do you want to end up...that's the question. Any way you look at it all costs money.

A lot of people do not loke the way turbo power comes on. A lot do. There seems to be little overlap.
