Trans output flange question

We have a trans with 110 mm fine spline flanges-would like to change to 100 mm. What is the best way to do this?

Buy a couple of SC flanges, sell your 110mm ones.

What Matt says - quite rare, and many turbo or 930 transplant guys with a 915 would take your arm off at the shoulder for a chance at those. Maybe the 3.6 transplant guys as well.

Or just remove the hub stub axles and use 3.2 G50 axles if your power output makes that worthwhile or you get tired of backed-off/broken M8 bolts.

76-77 Turbo had 2 different 110mm drive flanges. Open diff flanges are short and have limited application. LSD flanges are interchangeable in most fine spline diffs. By 78 fine spline drive flanges we’re the same length, just 100 & 110mm fitment.

Coarse spline or fine spline? Advice is similar either way, only difference is where you get the 100 mm ones from. SC / early 3.2 Carrera for fine, mid 70s 911 for coarse.

Thanks all for the education. The trans is a later lsd unit, so it makes sense that it would be a fine spline. So I need 2 fine spline 100 mm flanges. Should I specify length on my WTB?

And a final question: what would be a fair pelican to pelican price for the 110/fine flanges?

California Motorsports sell new ones for $1100. A decent price for pair of used ones is $700-800.

If you’re still looking for a pair of 100mm, I might have some. I’d want $250 shipped for a pair.
