17” 3 piece Fuchs deep rsr type look
I can’t find any pics of this ever being done. I have three piece customs Fuchs and ide like to see how it would look if I changed the barrels to get that deep rsr look in the rear. But on 17’s.
I currently have 2 3/4” spacers on the rear so moving the Fuchs faces back would also eliminate those. Am I crazy? ![]()

![]() w/ 930 fenders on an SC/Carrera chassis backspace is rarely an issue if the chassis is an SC/Carrera the fit is different from that on an M490 chassis on an SC chassis front 9 ET-3 is a common fit w/ 245-255 tire wheel f/s is 4.97" b/s is 4.73" +/- depending on manufacturer rear 11 ET-27 w/ 275-315 tire f/s is 6.91" b/s is 4.79" +/- max f/s for the fenders is front ~5" rear ~7" this depends on the ride height suspension settings and tire profile I can't tell you much more w/o knowing the ET and width of the existing wheels tire specs would also help

Final spacing and look will depend on which suspension you have, 911 or 930.
I've seen a few pics of RSR tributes/clones based on 911 that have deep dish 17s on the rear. I have 3pc wheels on my 930 that were custom spaced to take up every last mm of room without actually touching anything or rubbing. It's probably too extreme as the letters on the brake calipers had to be ground down a bit, but you get the idea.

The specs would be different if your suspension is 911 versus 930. The 911 allows more front spacing for an even deeper dish. These particular wheels ended up being 13.25" wide. The 315mm tires stretch on the wheel which insures the tire will not flex and rub during hard cornering. Do note that these cars have variation from side to side with the driver's side being a bit tighter, mostly due to the oil lines and the suspension adjustment bolts. I moved the lines and ground the bolts down. That's probably a bit much for some and I fully understand. This was an exercise in the possible, not the practical.
