One of my local friends has an SC. I will try to get a good measurement of his engine.

I wish we had a 3D scanner to measure the shape of the engine compartment for a SC. Another trial and error method. The bad news is he lives 35 miles away, so it is not easy to print one, and see if it fits, and make adjustments.

Maybe have the opening point aft and the funnel tip would curve down and to the right into the filler neck. And a hook to steady the funnel.

I will see my friend with the SC this weekend. I will bring a ruler and see if we can figure something out. The funnel needs a brace, or something to secure it in place to prevent it rotating in the oil tank, and dumping the oil bottle out.

For my Carrera, the air intake was the perfect position to make the saddle that just holds the funnel in place.

There are limits to how big the 3D print is. The funnel will need something close to brace it.

love the 3D printed funnel and a reasonable price. I also use the 5qt jugs and have found this DEF funnel to be useful on my Carrera. It is a little slow probably 60 seconds in order to not over fill the funnel but rarely do I spill.

All the funnels have been shipped. Most guys should have them in hand.

I used my own funnel yesterday. It is great, just remove the dip stick, put the funnel in place, start pouring to be 100% certain the oil is going into the funnel. then tip the oil bottle up, and push it down into the funnel and let go. The flow out of the bottle goes right in, no fuss no standing there bent over holding the funnel or the oil bottle. After a few minutes, the bottle is empty. Put the oil bottle cap on and dispose of properly. Remove the funnel and screw the cap on to stop any possible oil drips and to keep the tip clean and ready for the next time. Stuff a paper towel in the top, and done!

I would try to avoid doing in on a super hot engine. I don't know the melting point of the 3D printed funnel. My engine was hot, or operating temp, but not super hot and it was no issue.

Thanks Glen! I just received mine. The 911 raised lettering on the funnel is a nice touch. The spout finds the oil fill opening perfectly! How the heck did you figure that out? Great design.

Given the weight of 5 Liters, you may need to use an Engine Hoist, or if you’re an Aircraft guy, use a Sky Hook.

I will finally get to take photos and measurements of a buddies SC. I need to figure out where to put the brace to keeps it from moving. On the Carrera, the air intake is right there, and handy for the brace.

There just has to be some place to use as a funnel brace on a SC.

Have several more funnels printed up.

Porsche Parade in in Oklahoma City starting this Sunday. If you are attending in a 3.2 Carrera I can set you up with a funnel with no shipping charges!

I hope to sell a few more, and then we can go to have a nice prime rib dinner.

Not at all. The funnel is designed to work on a 3.2 with stock air intake. If your car has a 3.2 and factory intake, you are set. Just PM me your name, email address and mailing address. I will send you a PayPal request for $35 total.

Bummer. When I first looked at the picture, I thought the funnel was resting on the oil filter. I see now that’s not the case.

If you develop one that rests on the filter, please holler!!

Great design. The thing I wanted, and figured out is I can shove the quart bottle in the funnel, and walk away. The oil bottle stays in place until all the oil is drained out, every last drop.

If I can get my buddy's SC to my house for measurements, I will figure one out for the SC.
