I dont know....maybe "Boomser".... A girlfriend of mine once told me that "Boomser" means F-cker in German. JK...

Maybe "Lucille" or something like that would be more PC. Thats what BB King names all of his guitars.

Since Im a musician and music fan...maybe something like "Amadeus", "Miles", "Trane" or "Ringo" would work.

This thread made me think about it, and I am going to name it MATRIX! It is triple black and is my escape from reality.

The Gray Wolf - a friend called it that the first time he saw/heard it and it seemed like the perfect name. It's the first car I've owned with a name! Well, other than a series of beaters that were all named "The Winter Rat". -- Curt

I hate to say it but mine is named "poodle". As in "I see you drove the Poodle Car today!"

The guys at work put a front plate on my SC that was hot pink with a white poodle and the words Frenchie (my last name is French.

Sadly, the name has stuck.

I never really named mine, but it has different names anyway. Mostly depends on my mood, which again depends on how the car is running

My wife christened it "The Grumbler" after I installed a B&B muffler. Even though the B&B is gone (replaced by superior Dansk), it's still called "The Grumbler." No matter what else I try to call it, only that sticks.

I named my 911 "Max." There were a couple of reasons behind this... first of all, it's Glacier Blue, a color very similar to the color of the Pour le Merite, the highest German military decoration, also known as "The Blue Max." It has a wheel well mounted oil cooler with an air duct dangling below the car... a puckish friend said that this dangling appendage defined it as a boy car, and that "Max" was a perfect name!

After I bought it and drove it home, and began to learn the proper technique for shifting a 915 transmission, I decided that maybe "Max" wasn't quite what I had expected. You have to use a gentle touch to get what you want, and you have to adjust your style accordingly, so I think "Max" is really just a nickname for "Maxine."

Of course, under hard acceleration, "Max" becomes "Max Power!"

And then there's the Orange Shark, my perennial Corvette project... she's definitely a female, if you know the shape of a C3 Vette, you'll understand... anyway, I have taken to calling her "The Other Woman" since she consumes all of my money.

My '98 Neon R/T is named "Mojo" but I don't really remember why. Seemed like a good idea at the time, I suppose.

Other former cars with names were the "Silver Bird" (a silver '77 Firebird V8) and "Brigitte" (a silver '75 BMW 530i)... my '73 Celica and '90 Escort never really got names except when I was really torqued off at them.

The 356 is the least money sucker of the three. Start with a rusty POS and start cutting and welding....you too can have a 356 Speedster.

At least this one started as a Porsche, not some Fiero.....

Sometimes I refer to it as "the Superbeetle", but all the neighbors call it "Les' Porsche" as its the only P car for 30 miles.

Tristezza, means sadness in Italian. Why? Because she's blue and the first time I saw her she looked so lonely, desolate and in need of love. I call my mini Jimmy.

I call mine "the p car" and people generally laugh at me. Maybe they think I wet the seat.

For some reason, I cannot figure out if my two month old black cabriolet is a guy or girl. This has been bugging me. Maybe its bi? HA. For some strange reason my six year old son has been calling it the black wolf. We were in a store parking lot when a classmate was there with his dad. As we're sitting in the car, my son yells out as loud as he can to his friend that his dad has a race car and it's name is the black wolf. I hid below the dash board for ten minutes.

My first car was a '72 fiat spyder. My friends and I named it L'il Boot, because we would go out drinking in it all night long and puke (boot) in it!

I named my car Barbara for no paticular reason. I got to pick my sons first name ( I won the bet ) & I named him Maxwell for the no reason. It drove my wife crazy at first, she felt alot of thought & consideration should be involved in my decision. I love my sons name but I may change my cars name to Schotzie because I have become so fond of her.

"Lil SOB"

Signal
Orange
Bastard

Signal Orange for obvious reasons...

Bastard since it will be a compilation of ideas from all over...73 chassis, SC suspension, 69 soft rear targa....maybe go green faces in modern guages...

Plus Little and Bastard pays hommage to James Dean's 550 one of my all time favorite cars "Lil Bastard"

SOB for obvious reasons...
