Juan, my 78sc weighed 2250# with a 3.2/915 no interior, my 71T weighs the same with a 2.7, 901, and 'RS'carpet. Not a big difference. I would look for an SC chasis, probably more plentiful, rust free, and better able to take the stress of a bigger motor. It will also already have bits you will need anyway, like the alloy trailing arms & front suspension.
