CA Smog check time....any tuning suggestions to help pass???

It's that time again. Time for a good ol' California smog check. Car is stock, an '83 SC......Already have done most minor servicing. IE oil/filter, fuel filter, clean and recharge KN air filter, Cap/rotor, and timing. Been 6,000 miles since last valve adjustment, plugs and the O2 sensor was replaced then, also.

Any tips as far as ways to help insure passing the CA smog check in an SC????

Thanks in advance!!!!

Passed with flying colors!

15MPH.. HC (PPM) Max=141....Meas=60
CO (%) Max=0.99.....Meas=0.24
NO(PPM) Max=1148....Meas=495

25MPH.. HC (PPM) Max= 113....Meas=69
CO (%) Max=0.79...Meas= 0.29
NO (PPM) Max=978....Meas=556

...And I still need to do a valve adjustment and change the plugs.....Just glad I passed....Dreaded it!

Yeah, these cars are pretty amazing. I just passed.....with a gutted catalytic converter Shhh, don't tell anyone. I was able to tune my CO down to .44 by leaning her out. Of course, it was all I could do to keep her idling. Before I started adjusting the mixture I had CO of 3.17!! The only part I failed on was the gas cap.....go figure.
