I just didn't have the patience to fab a holder for the cannister. For the air filter I fabed two brackets out of pipe squashed flat and drilled at either end. And zip tied the cannister to one of the brackets.
I don't mind the 993 Porsche factory block-of since it is hidden under the (still absent) sheet metal. It won't interfere or take up any real estate where it is located. And it is stock. Ryan sure did a beatiful job with all the powdercoating. I was on a tighter budget and patience level myself and just wanted to get done with the swap. The price I have to pay now is that the sucker leaks from the valve covers and the pully seal. Oh well, at least I am not running out of projects. Ingo

The mystery of the vacuum can mount is solved
I used the stock air box and therefore kept the stock mount. It's no wonder I couldn't remember. Quote:
