Thanks guys.. It was an agonzing couple of weeks deciding on which color.

P-Thomas.. That is *exactly* how the hood is going to look. Here I thought my buddy and me were the only two with this style!

Jim, chartreuse has more yellow in it.

Andras, yes I translated it also to "yellow green", but the american paint books call it Lime Green, but the paint can says GelbGruen.

Chris,.. OMG.. That is too funny..

if it's like p-thomas' hood pic there, I DEFINITLEY want to see it...

need a place to put the radiator...was thinking about the back, but if it looks good, it may go to the front.

*ducking and covering*

Wow, that's, er, GREEN! Great for a track car!

Question: So you have this beautiful flawless vibrant paint job. What can be done to preserve it on the track? Do products like Stoneguard work? Can you cover every body panel?

Beautiful paint. The first blemish would kill me.

It's a stunner! I second Mikez's comments about white script, maybe combination white/black anodized fuchs, too.

Is it going to be a dedicated track car, or part street/track?

I'd vote for black script, with black-inset, anodized-or-polished spokes.

(Speaking from experience, the "PORSCHE" script looks good on an RSR body, too.)

Hey Jack,
Do you have any pics of any other RSR's with Carrera script? Black is my favorite....

Rattlsnak, I like the color. I don't have the stones to choose it, but I like it! Can't wait to see the finished product.

That is really awesome. I think yellow accents would look great.

Yeah baby! I wanted to do that color on mine, but thought it would look goofy on a cab.

>>Who is your source on the hood?<<

Actually, the body shop owner (Hot Wheels) makes the hoods. He just cuts the center section, bends it down, and welds in two side pieces.
It is similiar to Tintons pic, but almost identical to P-Thomas's pic.

I already have the Black Script lettering, so thats settled. I have 2-3 sets of wheels, some BBSs for rain tires, 7x9x16s Fuchs for the street, and custom wheels that look similiar to the FM 10s, for the slicks(because i needed a 14" wide rear.)

F.Y.I. my wife HATES the color,.............. women.

Looks menacing!

What was your source for the fenders? Are they fiberglass or steel? Turbo or RSR?

You sure do like projects.

No one has asked about the engine. You've gone from EFI SCs to C2 Turbos. What's next?

Rarly8, I have a '95 993 engine sitting on a pallet in my garage right now, but im not sure if Im going to use it or not. That was the initial plan, but I am leaning towards another C2Turbo if I can find one. I'm not sure Ill be happy with the power of the 993. It depends more on the mission plan. The 993 engine would be fine for the track and AutoX, but the Turbo would be excellent for the track but awful for AutoX. I havent decided at this point. I am also considering the Supercharger kit from TPC. So I have some options.

Anyone want to by a complete '95 993 engine??
