Midweek Track Time -- 1/21

Well, the last OTR event saw a lot of Pelican guys show up, and also a whole lot of other guys -- so much so that the beginnner group was too crowded.

This time around, they're not even up to the break-even point with enrollment, which is good news for any of us participating. It'll be a lot of track time, and it looks like we'll have some more experienced Pelican guys to instruct, which worked well last time.

As a cool bonus, it looks like there will be some full-race Porsches in the fast group, practicing driver changes for Daytona.

So, if you're looking for an event with a lot of track trime and a lot of your fellow Pelicanites in attendance, sign up for next Wednesday. It should be a blast.

Free lunch, too.

Here's a picture from last time:

Disclosure: Aside from instructing for them, I have no affiliation with Open Track Racing.
Pelican Parts has nothing to do with them, either. And of course, your fun level may vary.

That is one damn sexy car there!

This is going to be a great event with the lower numbers. There was tons of track time at the last one, even with the overbooking.

Jack, we should switch rides for one session.

Hmm, one problem with that photo. Scruffy seems i little light on the tail, probably feeling a bit immasculated or at the very least inadequate.

If you guys could figure out a way to make that tail wider and longer...

The tail just looks small because Dan Byers is standing next to it. If a normal sized man were standing near it, it would seem quite large!

Unlike the Aisan-import crowd, the only way we 911 owners can get any tail in the paddock is to stick it on the backs of our cars.
