Is it red red or maroon/wine color. I can live with Red.

FenderGuy 03-09-2004 01:59 PM

marroon/wine cooler faded and seats are torn

ed bates 03-09-2004 02:45 PM

Sounds like you are discouraging me....

WesMason 03-09-2004 02:47 PM

Fender - you have a PM

FenderGuy 03-09-2004 03:03 PM

Ed not discouraging you just making sure you understand interior is not perfect...i like the car a lot and i think other 911 people would too its a 83 that passed the PPI thats good enough for me

ed bates 03-09-2004 03:08 PM

....

Well let me know what you decide to do...I thought if I sounded way interested in it, you would jump on it...........thanks!

FenderGuy 03-09-2004 03:15 PM

No Ed Bates I am not like that, I would rather have a fellow Pelican like yourself have it then a non pelican person. Like I said if I choice not to buy it, you have all the right to pursue it. I thought I jumped on it already :) Like i said right car, wrong time. Its the choices I make now that i hate making

jerrykrug 03-09-2004 03:36 PM

Like another member said..you can always sell it if needed.
Sure hope you can swing this. It might be JUST what you need right now

Keep us posted

WesMason 03-09-2004 03:45 PM

vash 03-09-2004 04:20 PM

has wes mason found a car yet?

trj911 03-09-2004 04:26 PM

Fender, I like this car much better than the Porchevy you looked at a few weeks ago!

azasadny 03-09-2004 04:26 PM

FenderGuy,

None of us really has "job security", oh well, maybe a few, but you never know what's going to happen. Don't miss this car! Something tells me you're being overly-cautious. Of course this is easy for me to say... I've been in the same situation, hope it works out for you!

WesMason 03-09-2004 04:29 PM

oh man...I suppose I saw that coming.

Answer = many

There seems to be several quality cars available. My issue is simple...I just need to pull the trigger =)

Oh yes...and time. I need some time to go and make a purchase. Anybody have some spare time?

Wes

WesMason 03-09-2004 04:31 PM

Fender about time, you better not back out, or you are going to take a rash from this board.

The car is cheaper than your average Corolla. One should be able to liquify it quickly if needed or sell the daily driver instead. Sounds like a solid buy.
