Thumbs down More eBay bogusness

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10156&item=2470395950

"The car runs strong, with a new water pump, starter, and Porsche muffler with stainless steel hangers."

Where do they get this crap?

Hmmmm... I'd guess my water pump is new too as it has never been used.

Hmm... I wonder where they put the water pump.

And I've heard the stainless muffler "hangers" are worth at least 50 HP on the butt dyno!!!

Tough crowd.

Car looks fairly decent to me.

Mismatched repaint on the hood, and the painted Targa bar isn't to my taste, but for $8100...?

The "water pump" info is a red flag for sure. I'm not worried about a simple typo on the description but with ebay it seems that you need to run away when anything stands out as odd. Most of these cars look great on ebay and very scary in person. If it doesnt look good in pics on the internet I wouldn't give it another thought.

Is it just me or is the info that he brought it from a fireman not really strange?
Does look very nice in the pics though.

Ummm .... he did edit the ad to indicate he meant to say 'fuel pump' instead of water pump.
