OTC was cancelled in 2005 due to lack of interest/entries. I never heard anything about one for 2006, and the latest news on the OTC web page is the cancellation in 05.

Wow. A thread blast from the past.
In 2005, NASA took over adninistration of the event. It's a shame; I don't think they really had their hearts in it. Steve, I don't have any big events to document coming up, but there will be some 'tail tales' coming up. I worked a little on my newfangled aero idea today. Here's a sneak peek:  It ain't much, but it's all I got right now. How about this to give it more drama -- no fasteners of any kind will be used. (My advice to other guys on the the track: give me a lot of room in back on the first few laps.)

2004 and I only find it now.
