no spark!!!
ok fix clutch problem, now have no spark, have 70 targa2.2 have 12v going into dist. no volts at blue and yellow wire at coil.what next??.............help thanks mark

Did you remove the distributor, coil or wires or otherwise disturb anything? Have you checked points dwell and timing? Jim

Did you by chance disconnect the ground strap from the tranny to the chassis?

I did remove coil when trouble shooting(wires) and I did have running rough before I did clutch, just bought a month ago but did have spark.
What I did do is when motor was out cleaned engine area with carb. cleaner and sprayed out with hose, did not run for a week after that so it should of been dried? also there is a ground wire with the blue and yellow wire where should it be connected to and one on each hinge on engine cover where do they connect? That is installed jess . thanks everyone |
