What about by the engine/trans front bracket, the one that bolts to the two holes right below "D"??

![]() Even with this small jack I'm not jacking on the motor and the rear wheels are off the ground. ![]() If you place a 2x6 under the motor lifting it is PROBABLY O.K. I won't do it that way on my magnesium motor. When you consider the motor and trans are an aluminum alloy, on the newer cars, and they are held together by 4 bolts, with no mounts in the center, you may think twice about jacking the whole car there. IMO. Of course most of the "pros" jack their customer's cars that way. ![]()

This is the jacking and jack stand drawing I like the best. Has more than just the lift points.
