I think you're looking for 930/XX. I would highly recommend getting Paul Frere's book, The Porsche 911 Story, available here:

http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/ShopCart/STUF/POR_STUF_BKEURO_pg4.htm

I have this book and it has that info but it's not in front of me.

For the 930/XX number look to the right of the fan schroud by the oil pressure sending unit. It is stamped on the case.

Bill, I definitely believe you! I just thought from his post that he was looking for the actual 930/XX number. If my post implies that your information is wrong, I must have worded it incorrectly, because I did not intend that.

Thank you for your responses.

I thought the my engine type was 930/03.

Bill, Did you confirm my engine type in "The Porsche 911 Story", by Paul Frere?

Thanks,
