New shoes. The Bridgestones RE-71R are super sticky with a point and turn go cart feel

Took my patchwork-rolling-project 79SC Targa to the Spa-Francorchamps classic this May. It is a car that was delivered to Frankfurt but lived in SoCal for its formative years. So it is not rusty, but sunburned and shabby, with 180k miles. After 2 years with me has rebuilt engine, trans and fresh chassis on Bilsteins, and a rude exhaust for holidays.

I took it around Spa at night (meant to be a 'parade lap' but they let us go for it, ended up at 10/10ths!) over to the Nurburgring for a few laps, and we saw 145+, with the roof off, on the Autobahn back to Rotterdam. It was fine at that speed with no roof, surprisingly, although I do notice the loss of stiffness on more aggressive twisty driving. The roof makes a big difference here, strange considering it is only a foldable piece of vinyl.

The car is my daily and is now back to child delivery duties. These cars are great all rounders.

Just picked up this 1976 Grand Prix White targa, a Euro spec car. Stored for 3 or so years, it drove great on the way home. She's a really sweet, honest driver!
Not sure if its a keeper, the garage is at capacity now.

Everytime i see cashmere beige...a little part of my soul cries.

My '78 Targa was too one of the original 276 cashmere beige units...and was hen tragically and poorly resprayed guards in the early 90s...

This car is gorgeous.

What are the Front and Rear fenders and where did you source them
