Finally got rid of the 15" phone dials. Lowered it at the same time. I really like how it handles now. I think I do need a bump steer kit though.

Here's mine

its a 78 in mocha brown.

78k miles third owner and I keep thinking of reasons to get it on the road.

Conversation from last night......

" Honey instead of going out to dinner why dont I run down and grab some food to go and bring it back. You stay here and relax I'll be back in a few"

Upon my return...

" Chris, did you eat down there? That took awhile "

That would make servicing the car a lot faster - no need for a jack!

Cool car. It would go well with my Rat Fink collection.

If I had one.

After 1000 kms of driving fun, in the clouds and rain high on top of Steptoe Butte, Wa. And yes, it did get wet inside.

The hoop on mine is painted to match the body. Any tips for returning it to the brushed aluminum?

Your car would look great with the brushed STAINLESS finish.

I would remove it and try some kind of paint remover/stripper to see in what kind of state the rollbar is. Maybe a stripp and clean is all that it needs.

Not quite sure who makes my cage. My tech thinks that it is an autopower. I like the fact that it currently does not have doorbars but I might have some welded in if I am going to clubrace

Here is a quick pict of mine after the MA Shaw body work (front and rear bumper plus duck tail and deck lid) and the new Rota Foxes with Kumho XS tires (great and quiet so far):

She needs a ride height adjust and a corner balance after shedding those heavy bumpers and deck lid. Also might go back to factory torsion bars (after going to 21/27 with new bushings) with the weight loss also as a factor.

Makes me smile how she is turing out.

Scott
