3.6 conversion electrical question
I am getting down to the last few things on my 3.6 conversion
and wanted to ask the guru's on the board a few electrical questions on the conversion. First I am putting a 95 3.6 in a 76 3.0 carrera. This is where I am at so far. On the 14 pin female connecter on engine harness: Moved pin 12 to pin 14 Took out pin 10 and insulated it Took pin 3 (resistor blower) yel/blk out and insulated Moved pin 14 grn/blk (oil temp sender) to pin 3 On the 14 pin male engine bay connector I was going to take pin 9 (tach wire) out and swap in the grn/red oil pressure switch wire but I could not find it on the harness. Am I doing this thing right? Here are some pics.... ![]() ![]() ![]()

Did you get the instruction set from Steve T. He has all the changes listed there, if not he put the 993 in my C3 last year and likely noted the changes needed.
