I have to admit I was (am?) a former member of the M.R.A. - Mulholland Racing Association - 1969 to about 1974 ... This timeframe would seem to be about the 3rd generation of Muholland racers... with plenty before and plenty after...

First with a '59 Alfa spider, then a '67 CalBug... and every now and then (in the last 16 years) with my '73-S

Lots of years... lots of stories

I think I can still average about 35mph from the 101 to the 405 with headlights OFF....

908, so are you still going up there on Sat. and are you guys meeting at Santa Anita? Didn't get my car tech at the mech and don'r have a helmet. Maybe I can pay the $20. and ride with an instructor or something. Sure like to attend that one hour class.

If you guy's meet at the IHop a good way to go would be to just stay on Soladad Cyn Rd instead of getting on the 14 fwy. It will take you back to the 14 up in Acton and is about the same time wise. It just takes you through the Canyon and isn't as steep as the freeway.

I just worked out 2 routes out of Santa Clarita. Hope to see some folks and their cars there.
