Whoa, he went from not really knowing how to drive a stick to winning best time in less than a year. I knew he was holding back, the hustler. Congrats Cliff!

Good stuff.

I still haven't tried AX. Anyone know if GGR is planning an AX school for the clueless next year like this year?

I think they teach an autox school every year at Candlestick. Next weekend there's an autox school at Sears Point by the Sac Valley Region.

I just tried calling him but he's not answering. You know those Cal Trans guys, he must be in a huddle over a pothole with six others eating a sandwich. Just kidding Cliff. I slow for the cone zone!

cliff, if you look at the standings they give you times for the morning. as i recall you did not run in the morning. they gave some of your afternoon times in the morning, so that was near top time in the morning run, due to the shorter afternoon course.

you still the man!!! i forgot you were in the timing both.... actually in the afternoon i was working as "cone counter" so i relayed the the cone numbers into the trailer. the trailer crew was a bunch of new folks and i think thats how it went down.

you still the man, you even beat that hotshoe fred cambell. i have printed the results and want you to autograph them for me... show your chick,,, she will totally be your slave then,, nudge, nudge, wink, wink....

i bet you S'd yourself when you read the title to the post eh? i would have loved to see your face as you read it...

Damn, maybe I need to start working in the trailer.

They need to separate the morning and afternoon runs. Taking 1st overall due to only running in the afternoon is downright silly.

Looks like they just wrote cliff's times down in the wrong spot.

yeah something to that effect. that is the case because you and i both beat fred, even though his morning time was better than either of ours. the rub? he did not run the afternoon.

dan there is a thread going that we are trying to get a run together this weekend. its under a "bay area" title
