Brembo GTP vs. GTP light bias Q
I will be putting one of these kits on my '87 Carrera soon. What are the bias issues associated with each of these kits. I can run either kit since I have 17"wheels. The GTP-l's seem to be the same caliper front to rear. Any comments?
Cheers, James

Try posting over on the Rennlist board also - Steve will see it and respond. He has experience with both kits I believe.

Jim, I have no direct experience w/ those kits. The preliminary #S supplied to me by Racetechnologies are 322x32 and 322x28mm rotors for the GTP kit(same as the Big Red kit) but w/ 40/44 and 28/30 pistons vs 36/44 and 30/36 for the Big Red kit.
If those #s are representative of the kits being currently delivered then the GTP is very heavily front biased, only a true 993tt is more front biased. This may be ok w/ big sticky race rubber. but it is a lot of front bias. especially w/o ABS
