Engine swap
Question from T member:
Putting an 88 3.2L (911 SC) w/ Motronic EMS into a 70T. The engine has the 88 tachometer. Should or can I use the old tach with this swap or do I have to use the new one? What else needs to be considered? He likes the style of the older dial faces. Any possibility of a dial face swap?

An msd will trigger a '73.5 tach w/o problem. I don't think anyone knows for sure for your year; also, you need to specify how you will drive it.
Search and you will find out "all we know so far" on this topic. Post your results for the next guy.
