Finally got one.

After a long time looking, and buying\building\selling one, I've finally found one that I can just drive.

1988 Targa, 71,000 miles

some pics

Okay here is the deal, Curt and I go for a cruise every Sunday afternoon for about an hour or so, weather permitting. You are always invited. I'll gladly help you clean her up (all I know how to do) if you just come by some time to show us how to safely jack up my '84 and put her on the stands we have. I need to get those wheel wells clean!

Oh and I fixed the light in the front trunk. After exhaustive review of all availble schematics I keenly observed that one of the leads to the switch was disconnecte. Pretty impressive eh?

Congratulations and well deserved!

Congrats on the new car, just picked up an '88 Cab with 40K. I did a lot of work in Viera on some of the latest retail projects that enabled me to be able to buy it...hats off to Viera!!!

So this is not your first?

You were not trying to make money off these cars, were you?

Nice looking car! I love the Cup II wheels on SC's and Carrera's. Of course I'm biased since my CAB has them as well, but I think they look great.

Sweet! You'll love it, and like you said, you'll be able to just drive the thing.

Fella's, look close, there are two different kinds of wheels in this thread. Going by the name on the wheelenhancement website

993 Cup (I think also called Cup 1's) rounded spokes

and C2 Turbo (I think also called Cup 2) more square spokes my personal fav's behind Fuchs

Okay, I didn't look closely enough, you are correct Masraum my wheels did come off my son's C2 Turbo when he fitted a set of Cargraphics wheels. They were a bit wide for the SC at the rear and I ended up with 43mm spacers to clear the oil pipes on the inside, the tyres are just inside the wing (fender) edge so are legal in UK.
