O2 Sensor - Question
When the CAT is removed / eliminated (on a 3.2)what becomes of the O2 sensor........and what about its input to the DME? Please pardon my ignorance on this one.

That is an interesting question. I think you need to keep the O2 sensor on DME pulsed injection. Based on what I know about bosch pulsed injection systems, I would guess that without the cat, the sensor would read high levels and try to lean out the mixture constantly. Perhaps someone knows a way around this. Sorry I didn't contribute much.

The O2 sensor is located before the cat so removing the cat has no effect on its operation.

There is a place to put the sensor (O2?) in the Dansk "test pipe"
Do I just remove the one from the cat and put it there? How can I tell if it is working properly...can moving these things causes a problem...I will try to remove it very carefully.

If the O2 sensor is disconnected, the DME goes to a neutral AFR setting, i.e. neutral
fuel mixture set by the internal .50 volts & no longer optimizes the AFR @ 14.7. The DME can be run without the O2 sensor without a CAT or if with a CAT and the miixture is not too rich (>>1.5% CO before the CAT). Check out this web site (www.systemsc.com) on the Waveforms page for more info.
