New animated MFI engine versions
The cold start injectors got a makeover this afternoon, squirting a tiny bit of raw fuel once every complete cycle... I know it's not "technically correct" but there are limits with .GIF files that are on a continuous loop.
![]() An "x-ray" version of the same thing: ![]() Now you guys who want to see FIRE and SMOKE, hang on! |

I wish there was a way to ad a controler so we could increase the rpm. I want to see this badboy turnin' out 4300 rpm!

Now if you could just make it interactive.
Such as move the mouse over the throttle and rev it up as long as you hold down the left mouse button and then when you release, it idles back down. That would be way too cool. Better yet, would be to add the sound of an engine to follow the rev-up and idle back down. Don't forget the oil squiters. Last edited by abisel; 02-12-2005 at 05:23 AM.. |

What is the "squirt" that appears above the throttle plates, coming in from a small diagonal "pipe" from the left -- about even with the centerline of the fan?? The "squirt" appears to be timed with the bottom of the power stroke.

Brian - it looks like Darryl didn't warm the engine up before releasing it....
