Fuchs Sizing

Guys,

I thought the wheels on my 74 S were 8" fuchs. I was told this by the shop that put the tires on them. The tires are Yoko ES100s 205/60X15. I was there when the old tires came off and I measured the rims. They are 8" outside to outside and 7 1/2" inside to inside at the lip. What is considered the true size of these babies?

Jim,

15x7s! They are also factory stamped on the inner spoke, wipe them off and the #'s will show.

Thank you,
Jason

The meaning of the various terms used re wheels can be seen here

When some one says that they have a x" rim they are(or at least should be) referring
to the bead width which will be ~1" &#177 narrower than the overall width.
