Looks pretty good.
But those aren't 930 calipers you have there. If those are on an 86 930, you should have the 4 pot calipers.

The car has been modified from it's original state of a carrera as I now know. The person I bought it from had the wide body and turbo motor out in it along with a 5 spd trans.

The previous owner of my car did that. I have been doing stuff to the caliper working on them and the paint has chipped in many places. A big C clamp does that to paint..
I am going to strip the paint off, and go back to original. Hope you have better luck.

I used the caliper paint hoping it was less likely to chip I will find out soon .

I used the two-part epoxy on mine after scrubbing the crap out of the calipers and they still blistered and cracked badly after doing a couple DE's. Would be fine for street driving though. Maybe my prep was not thorough enough--I don't know.

I like the look and it makes future brake jobs a little more pleasant when everything is clean.
Did you paint the rotors as well? Here's a pic from a few years ago, after 1 year my rotors started to look pretty beat. I used Por15 over the rust, then Wurth silver. It held up nicely over the next 2 years. I'm just replacing them now, and used primer and Wurth silver on new rotors. ![]()
