Geez and I thought it was another cool collar thread...
The claims are all crap, it's a spark plug....good spark, efficient fuel burn, push piston....nothing to see here.

Yup, that may actually give worse performance by putting more crap infron of the spark. The spark is going to ark between the electrode and the closest ground (path of least resistance - always) so despite having all that extra crap on there will only be one spark and it will usually be in the same spot (unless different RPMs give different mixing in the cumbustion chamber) that the spark might be in different spots at different revs...

Hey! His spark plugs "produce plasma"!! Take that you scoffers.
I'm gonna invent a spark plug that produces super-strings. Then if somebody makes fun of it, I'll just unravel reality around them. No more screwing around with quarks...

He claims that Bosch tested his plug with amazing results...wouldnt a big company like that just buy him out if they were so good and revolutionary?
Also...the claim at the end about the guy's patents being airtight....US Patent Law only applies to the US.... overseas is fair game for competition and stealing of ideas. |

That makes about as much sense as putting Ron on the Rock.

Greatest automotive invention:
http://www.trunkmonkey.com P.S. We can talk about putting Ron on the rock when we finish paying off his trillions in national debt.

We'll save the political discussion for another forum.
I just wanted to see what people thought about this invention. It doesn't seem like people get "great" improvements from twin plugging. This seemed like snake oil to me, but I'm not an engineer.

The one thing that sounded fishy(est) when he said that the more complete combustion was 100 degrees cooler.

Well it all sounds like snake oil, but other than the list of attributes he posted and the "plasma". However, I don't have a good understanding of plasma so I can't comment.

i'm sure this is snake oil but when i was at SEMA there was a new ignition that claim it was of a plasma type, It cost about 12K bucks. They said a few of the f1 teams were running it, and that in a few years some of the oem will be running it also. Just food for thought.
