Here are my 16" Fuchs--6 and 7 inch--painted Cassis Red to match the car. I put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on them at the start of the summer--much better ride than the POs run down Dunlops. I'm working on bringing them back--touched up the paint a few weekends ago, but want to polish the rims. Any advice on how best to do that? I was thinking about trying the smaller Mother's polishing ball.

This is only a test. And if the owner of this nice 911 finds out I have been photoshoping his car, he will have me shot. Of course, the color is way off on the strips. I was hoping more for a cobalt blue.

I suggest we make Fuchs wheels the monetary base for a new currency. They seem to have so much inherent value. 16 x 8's and 9's, original condition.

wire wool, aluminium polish, then buffed with flexi drill attachment, and finally hand finished with soft cloth and lotsa elbow grease. Coat with WD40 over winter to help protect finish from road salt and hard rain. Trust me WD40 nis perfect for the job of protecting finish

Porsche Crest

Here's a picture of my factory optional 6/7x16" Fuchs w/ anodized rims, Guards Red painted centers, and painted Porsche crest wheel caps

Incidentally, here are the corresponding "Porsche Exclusiv" option codes from the period:
XD9 Painted wheels body color
X89 Wheel caps with Porsche crest painted on wheels
