While we're on the topic of wide Fuchs, have you guys noticed that many manufacturers are starting to discontinue sizes like 245/45/ZR 16? I have.
Yes but in the meantime some new tyres have supported the size namely toyo and some continental that I've been told are a vast improvement over the old SR2/3s.

Yellow wheel

Now I don't feel badly about posting my yellow wheel.
Wheel work by Robert Woods, back in the day.

My Lindseys finished last night in the shed ,satin mopped to remove marks then bead blasted and bright anodised.
I used Eastwood extreme satin black paint but wouldnt use it again, its to glossy and takes forever to dry.I hope its rock hard when it drys properly.

This might be a good thread to make a point: it's Fuchs. Always. Plural and singular. The German word for fox (hence the Rota name) and the last name of the family who started the company. http://www.fuchsfelge.de/

Sorry. Couldn't help it.

I like the all black look, which I think compliments the aggressive stance of the car as well as contrasts the red and brings out the Carrera RSR graphics.

What would this look like on a black on black Carrera? I looking for a winter project. Might be kinda cool.

Why do you continue SPAMMING the tech forums with your ADVERTISING?

I called you out on the local VW board and here you are on this one again.

All of your posts here and on the VW board are simple advertising for your business. How is that considered "getting involved with the community"?

You contribute ZERO technical information on this tech board, yet I'm sure you have plenty you could. How is that considered "getting involved with the community"?

I agree, there is a big difference between putting a discreet link in your signature and posting these outright billboards.
Your post count of 5 (...) does not represent a longtime involvement with the community. And even then, I don't see MikeZ or Steve Wong ( or any other business owners on this board) advertising in this way.
Shame on you!
