Sweet look Dave! I like how the wheels fill out the RA1's! What size are the tires, and what ride height is that? 25" in the front?

Here's a comparison of a brand new factory Fuchs, and one painted with satin black. When you can compare side by side in correct light, the satin black seem to be slightly more glossy.
(These are clickable thubnails)

But I think it's close enough.

I hear about people using scotch brite on this and on that. Interesting didn't know you could do that. I have been paying a little attention to my wheels the last couple of days. Mainly using a cleaner wax on the black, repainted the center caps (the did have a white ring and a Porsche crest that both were flaking and it was bothering me) it looks a little cleaner now. I'm not sure what to do about the lug nuts though. Most of them look like they are anodized a brass color, but a few have lost that and turned black. (I guess) What do you guys think of the brassy color. Keep in mind the color of the car is copper metallic brown.
Any ideas on how to fix this. Obviously replacing is the easiest but these things aren't cheep.
By the way 7 +8 originals.

The original factory lug nuts were anodized black. You can reanodize in the many colors available for this process. Paint may not hold up well to many revs of a socket.

What would happen if I took Scotch Brite to the lug nuts?
Anybody ever do that?

Porsche Crest I Prefer This Finish For My Back Dated 79 930

Pelicans,

I am running:

275's Front
315's Rear

Flag mirrors are currently being removed for black 935 mirrors.

I like the all black look, which I think compliments the aggressive stance of the car as well as contrasts the red and brings out the Carrera RSR graphics.
