What the heck is this tool for?(!)
Bought a bunch of tools at an auction, and this came in the box... There's got to be some all knowing Porsche mechanic out there who can tell me what it's for!

My guess is that the jaws belong in the hole perpendicular to the socket, rather that out the end.
A holding/clamping tool of some kind.

You'll have to tell us, Grady...all the link did was lead me to the Stanly/proto home page...I searched the number on the tool, still couldn't get a match...I'm guessing it's a "ifino"...as in "damnedifiknow"...

Damned complicated, but workable, design. Better stud removers and "bolt outs" are available at Sears these days...But they involve multiple tool purchases. This design is sort of a "one tool fits all" thing.

I don't know what it does but it looks like the pin might be for for storage. I.e. when you're done with the tool drop the 2 wedges into the end of the tool and then put the pin in the side to keep them from falling out.

That is a discontinued part number, but the 4520 is a stud remover, which was the next closest number in the catalog.
