Can't put top down while engine is on - can I change this?
I have an 88 Cab with an electric top.
The only problem that I have is - that the car has to be OFF in order to raise & low the top. Can I by-pass this switch so I can lower & raise the top while the car is running. e.g.: at a red light.... If you can - has anyone done this & is it very hard to do. Is this a 2 wrench job? (Details please) Thank You |

IIRC, do a search on Rennlist on one of the 944 forums. I remember seeing a post on this fix from when I had a 944S2 Cab. The fix should be similar.
