4 1/2 by 15 fuchs question
A friend has just sold a pair of rare 4 1/2 by 15 fuchs. the person that he sold them to reckons that they are not 4 1/2 by 15's as they measure wider then 4 1/2 inches. he is measuring them from outside edge to outside edge. i was led to belive that fuchs should be measured from INSIDE to INSIDE edge to get a true width measurement. is this true? can anyone help? to make matters worse my friend has been told that some of the real early wheels were not stamped with a part number? true/false?
thanks for your help

Measured from the inside of the bead to the inside of the bead, not the total width of the rim!
