Derek Smith.
PORSCHE 962 and 904 PARTS MADE IN CANADA Interesting fellow. His own 962 is a custom tube frame. He also has built a few monoques from the factory paterns. Has molds for the body work etc.... His 904 uses a custom chassis and centerlock hubs, huge brakes etc and an exact replica body (mold taken off a factory car) with the exception of the tail. The 962 replica runs a 3.2 carbed motor and the 904 will use a warmed over 993 motor. IIRC the 962 has a hewland and the 904 a Mendiola. I really want a 904, but would need to unload the Green Machine to do so..... Cheers

Hi Steve - my M&W build up is progressing slowly.
Chassis is finished. Body has been moulded & the two are now in the process of being bonded together.

Make sence to copy one of the most beuatyfull cars ever made, but why but why add the uggly arches that makes it look like a cheap kitcar?
All the harmony in the lines are disturbed with the perferct arc add ons. Ok I understand the desire for wider wheels but it could be accomplished with an over all wider body. Should be steel wheels but thats an easy fix. Sorry I continue to hunt for a 908 replica tub. Designing the chassis collecting parts building engine takes some time.

Arjen Bosman recently did a full cross country trip with his new Beck 904 3.6 to San Francisco.
Very cool- there is a you tube video of it someplace

Chuck & creation at the Barber "Rahal" event this year. He's a delightful individual - told me he borrowed heavily from the Chevron B series sports-racers to improve the handling - fine inspiration.
