“Sold the business” is kind of the Cliff Notes version. Chuck and Kevin Hines have been partners in crime since the early Spyder/Speedster days. When they brought production back from Brazil, Kevin built a factory in Bremen Indiana and his son Carey runs production of the Speedsters, Spyder’s, GTS’, and now Chuck’s latest project, the Super Coupe, a mid-engine Subaru-powered 356 Coupe sitting on a chassis similar to the GTS.

The integrating of 'current' Boxster mechanicals is intriguing. Should help with parts, fuels, servicing and reliability. My first HPDE event, maybe 15 years ago, at Road America, Chuck Beck was there with his demo. I stopped by, 'cuz I have been enamored with the 904 since the 60's. It was beautiful and he drove it there ... amazing!
