Nice! Love the 2 transporters in the background also.

Answering to a few posts up, a Beck GTS is 42" high. I don't think people in big SUV's see it at all, even if they bother to look. I drive like I'm invisible.

It's even tiny compared to other track vehicles.

nvr2mny - I'm also in the KC area. I would love to see your 904 some day. I don't have one yet, but would like to one day. I'd like to see one in person though.

I saw this youtube video the other day. I'm not a fan of Subaru power in a Porsche, but it was interesting.

David 23: Any chance on comments about how you like your Beck 904? Was the 3.6 your only choice for this? How loud is this when you are cruising around? No one discusses this and I have damaged hearing as it is. I sold a 911 swapped with a 3.6VR engine that I had the choice between legal and very loud or reasonable but no cats. It did sound wonderful but had to be further damaging my hearing.

I purchased my Beck 904 from a private party, and the 3.6 engine that came with the car was completely disassembled waiting for a rebuild. The long block rebuild has just been completed with a few mods, and now waiting on getting the new ITBs and other induction and control systems installed. Then it will go back into the chassis and hopefully I can actually drive it!! SO...to answer your questions, I actually haven't driven the car yet!! I speculate it will be loud, as it has trumpet ITBs, headers and very minimal mufflers. I have to admit I am very anxious and excited.

I've lusted over the 904 for years, would love to find a Beck replica. Their website hasn't been updated in years, are they still in business?

I looked for one about 4 years ago. At the time it was around 50k for a rolling chassis. I would love to get one in any condition but they're really hard to find.

Their website is still active. They operate under Special Edition Inc. There is currently a 2 1/2 year wait for a 904, after placing a deposit. Current pricing is on the website. I had made a deposit and been on the wait list, however I was fortunate to find the completed car to purchase that was very close to the spec I was ordering so I jumped. Saved a long wait, and my deposit was returned.
Carey is very responsive to inquiries. While I haven't driven mine yet, I am very impressed with the construction craftsmanship of my car.

The Beck is really loud. Earplugs are required if you want to avoid hearing damage. Mine is a stock 3.6.
I have tried a number of mufflers on mine, just to pass the noise regulations at my local track. It currently squeaks by. Inside the cabin idle is 85dbA, cruise is 90-95dbA, at WOT I'm too busy to look at a db meter, but it's more than cruise.

There just isn't room for a good sized commercially available muffler. I have debated paying someone lots of money to plumb in a 996 muffler system - the vertical orientation might fit. But it is probably $4K of work and an extra 40lb, and it might still be too noisy - so I just wear earplugs.

The engine is 12" behind the driver, contained in a nice resonant clamshell, and separated from the driver by a bit of fiberglass - so lots of racket there.

The suspension is all heim joints, except poly for the front LCA's. If you live & drive where it rains, the heims get squeaky. The poly squeaks as well. These are not subtle squeaks - they are quite audible over the engine racket, even with earplugs.

But it sure is a blast to drive, especially on track.

I count 4 trumpets, so I'd wager that they are indeed 904/8's. Didn't know they made any!

Also, might be optical delusion, but it looks like the doors are shorter and the clamshell extends a bit more forward, compared to the two other cars.
