OK, finally crashed it. Need kevin's #

No amount of reading is gonna to get you ready for this tail coming out with the freaking turbo coming on around the turn.

Made the turn fine, then I hit it hard half way around the turn to finish it. Wham, spin the rear wheels, then I am in for a roller coster ride. Try turning the wheel but the force was just too great. All those partices at my old university parking lot early in the morning just didn't help. banged up the spoiler and the hood poped. What are those round metal bars the goes aroound the condenser, or should I say were, are crushed. I smacked it at around 20 mph into the curb at a slight angle.

Any body have our board member Kevin's #. I've got to go see him tomorrow. I have no time. I got a baby coming in 2 1/2 week. Thinking I will go and relief some stress. This could not happen any other time. Oh well. Stupid of me to do this kind of crap with a baby on the way.

Jeff

It wasn't until I became a father that I realize that my life is no longer just mine. I have a family that I wish to be a part of and create memories that they will reflect on long after I am no longer here.

This attitude of just thinking about myself and going out to DE to have fun hit home to me this past summer when I heard about the tragic death of Ben Keaton behind the wheel of his Carrera GT. Ben was a new father and he leaves behind a beautiful daughter that will have no memorie of her dad.

I have given up DE and sold my formula ford because in the end, that doesn't matter in my life any more.

We are only on this earth for a very short amount of time. You have to decide what is important to you.

Thanks guys for the quick reply. Will call or maybe stop tomorrow Kevin.

Ruf-Porsche, Things happen real fast when there's no grip. Had a long talk with myself over dinner. I never race or speed on public roads. Do 75-80 on the fwy, that's it. I decided to calm myself down and not act like a fool anymore. There are many other little ones and dads and moms on the road also. Can't see them getting hurt due to my dumb action. Not worth it. I think from now it will just be my new boy and I ( when he gets older) driving through the canyons on a sunny So Cal morning and have lunch after that. I've had a good few accidents before, and walk away and do it again. You are right, it isn't just my life any more. Thanks. I really needed someone to tell me this to wake me up.

Jeff
