That's 91 RON (research octane number) which is equivalent to your US pump 87 octane (R+M)/2.

You wouldn't mistake Deutsche marks for dollars, so don't mistake Euro octane ratings for US!

Take some time to look at the fine print on your manual and then take a closer look at what it says at your gas pump.

The sticker on my '85 Euro reads 98 RON Unleaded. I use 95 with my stock engine.
