The link worked for me.
The specs are all conjecture. But the body panels are finally laid bare, and they look... well, to my eyes... ...not so great. Still, I'm sure it'll be a great ride.

It's a sad day when German styling follows Japanese.

The styling is too fussy looking. Too many details that don't seem to work well together aka Japanese school. Not as smooth, simple and purposeful as earlier years. And it's a fat pig. A fast, fat pig though.

I can't believe that is how it is going to look. It is ugly.

Why don't we send a "message" to Porsche..by posting this link on their website... maybe they're not getting enough "feedback" on the decisions they seem to be making of late ....

agree with you on that, but alas..they stopped caring long ago. It's business, and business is $$, not input from me, as I cannot afford one anyway.

I'm not sure there is any room to make styling "progress" after the Fcars of the 1960's, the E type, and the 550 and early 911.
You can always make progress in technology, but not always in esthetic areas -- and that includes music and the visual arts too...

What the hell is Porsche thinking with their new vision of fog lights? First the Cayman... now this?

They covered the crest...as if we wouldn't know it was a Porsche?

Somebody better shout "april fools"
I see Strosek, all it needs are the beady little eyes/headlights. I hope Stef is still lurking, maybe he can save this one? Last edited by 5axis; 12-30-2005 at 02:56 PM.. |

Well Todd, maybe!
Is the hood the same as the 997? The first thing I said was "Beetle" when I saw that hood. And the spoiler/fog lights look like a Talon or Tiburon. There is lots of styling progress to be done, its too bad they didn't make any here...

900 lbs more than my 930 which has a full cage. Good grief.
