HELP removing DME relay

I want to remove my DME Relay (88 Carrera). How does it come out?

I have removed the nut... is there a connection plugged into the rear (engine side) which snaps off? Can't see back there.

Thanks.

I think there is a plug in connection in the rear. It doesn't come off easily and I don't want to break something. Should I just "tug harder"?

I just had to replace mine on the road today. Yes, there is a connection on the engine end of the relay. I typically take my seat out to make things easier. Good luck and don't forget to put a spare in your car!

I reach my right arm under the seat from behind, and my left arm under the front. I can just reach both halves of the relay/connector. Slowly rock it back and forth to separate.

I'm not certain my arms are long enough. I'll go try.

Thanks!

Another satisfied customer. Well done, and remember to put an extra in the glove box.
