Any difference in turbo trailing arms

A friend is looking to build an RSR on an SC body and has a line on some turbo trailing arms from a G50 car. is there any difference between trailing arms from a G50 car versus older turbo trailing arms?

'86/915 and '87/G50 arms are the same

No, I didn't know that Bill. The platform is an 81 Euro sc so it sounds like euro trailing arms will be required. I'd like to see some pictures of the difference in the mounting points if anyone has any. The roller is not yet available for inspection.

Just so you know. You don't have to use turbo trailing arms with a turbo body car. The SC arms with spacers will do fine. Depending on the offset of the wheels you choose spacers may not even be needed.

The turbo arms and mounts are a slightly different suspension geometry setup that may or may not be peferable to the owner of the car. Some of the suspension gurus like Tyson would be able to explain the advantage and dissadvantages of the turbo setup.

P.S. There is no difference between euro and usa arms.

Bruce Andersons Perfomance Book from 1995-96 explains it in detail. It provides for increased squat. The pick up points on torsion bar are different. The mounting for the caliper is behind and not in front of the hub as on the normal aspirated.
