O2 sensor and Battery?
I just replaced my oxygen sensor with a Bosch one ordered from our host. It was complete replacement , with no splicing necessary.
My question is, Do I need to disconnect and reconnect the battery now that the install is complete to let the computer reset and recognize the new part? It seems to be running well but thought I should ask. Thanks, 337 1987 911 Carrera 3.2 |

I'm about to replace my O2 as well. I don't have an answer but I say when in doubt, pull the battery. Better over cautious than under.

Our 3.2 motronics do not have adaptive memory so it makes no difference.
