A quick release steering wheel is something I wanted to do for a while but it always seemed too expensive. I experimented with ebay to see the difference in parts compared with those listed. The first one for $21

Reviving an older thread but after struggling with the right parts/fit from another brand am considering this one. Going on an 86 coupe with Momo hub and wheel... Here is what I have in my cart from murray motorsports: ![]() Can someone let me know if this looks right, with Momo hub, working horn and Momo wheel...and if so, how is it holding up??? Thanks for any insight- Erik

I personally know Joe Murray of Joe Murray Motorsports. His products are top notch. When I lived in Ca (‘98 - ‘22) and drove 911s I bought his stuff. Hell before I went to Ca I bought his stuff, I raced a ‘67 911 in Ireland. Not cheap but quality. JMHO

It looks right but I can't recall the required spacer thickness. Here's a pic of the setup I've been running for 9 years.

Zombie thread. I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since I bought that hub.

Other forums I used to frequent for motorcycles and Land Rovers have either gone south or no longer exist. 20 years of usage seems like validation to me. I will probably be ordering. Erik

I still value the decision to add the quick release hub a few years ago and I was lucky enough to find one within my budget. Great conversation piece and theft deterrent.
Keep these old threads alive!

Agree 100%! Found so many answers/ideas from 10-20 year old threads...
Just ordered the QR from Murray Moto. Thanks to this old thread... Erik
