Wonder what is in the pipeline for WEVO products.
Any comments from Hayden......or his 'new employee'? ![]()

My vote is for a solution to replace the G50 transmission mounts.

I agree! I know that Tyson leaves L.A. ----------> Wevo with lots of ideas of his own but a few more wouldn't hurt. This might turn into a really good thread. BB2 and my car, as well as others have been the ginney pigs thus far. Now its time to actually manufacture some of those ideas on a larger scale and put them on the market. |

Hayden's got a book 2" thick of products that haven't seen the light of day yet. They either didn't meet the high WEVO standards, or weren't viable for some other reason. There's not much that he hasn't already thought of, tried, and discarded.
There are more still that I'm sure we'll be working on together, and I've got several ideas in my head that I want to work out. No doubt, it's going to be very challenging and fulfilling working with Hayden, and trying to meet his high standards. He's also given me the green light to develop my own line, if he doesn't want to use it as a WEVO product, or it doesn't fit into his catalog. I know of a project I'll be working on right away, but I'm certainly not going to tell you what that is without consulting Hayden first. Maybe he will se this thread and add his input. One thing I will tell you is that we'll be expanding the product line to include much more late-model cars. I've got a 964, and Hayden has a 993, and we may add some others to the stable so we can use them all as test mules to really work out the details before they hit the market.

Pederasty
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search The term pederasty embraces a wide range of erotic relations between adult males and adolescent boys. Pederastic relations can have widely dissimilar manifestations – they can be lawful or transgressive, chaste or sexual, loving or commercial – and have been documented from prehistory to modern times. ------------------- Ugh.

O.K., now that the thread has spiraled off track, let's get it back on.
Any suggestions for new products? This could be the official wish-list thread.

Amen. Freaky pedo detour. So back to the discussion I started, eh?
--------- How about some goods for Turbo cars? Here's one to work on: Fan cooling for brakes. I'd even like it for my car - with 'Big Reds' and Pagid Yellows.

Please do this before I have to track down Wendy Hewland from Hewland Engineering in some Irish bar on Fairfax Avenue. I can't hold my liquor against a good lass like she.

I’d ask for (if they are possible):
1. A G50 into early car solution. Wevo has done a great job making the 915 better in every way, but the more modern, robust design and torque handling capability of the G50 still make me want one. If a “cost effective” plug and play solution with minimal chassis mods and good race gearing were available, I’d be very interested. 5 speed would do it for me, and I’m specifically thinking about cars with engine swaps. 2. Improved suspension geometry kit, front and rear. For the front I’m thinking productize the mod you did on Jack’s car, so that you can “bolt on” better geometry for wide body cars that allow you to remove the factory 930 wheel spacers. For the rear, something that gives racers most of the benefits of a 993 rear suspension swap into an early car without completely re-designing the rear chassis of the car. So maybe a multi-link rear setup with a sub-frame that ties to existing strong-points, the less cutting and welding the better. 3. Chassis stiffening kit- weld in. Use these pieces to stiffen the weak areas of the earlier chassis. Yes, some things already exist, but there seems room for a lot of improvement. 4. The “move weight forward” kit. I have no idea what this is. Maybe just building on the ideas of the existing forward mounted oil tanks, etc. I just know that the heavy 3.6s sitting in the back of these early chassis with fiberglass hoods and fenders have such a serious rear weight bias that it’s a problem. I’d be interested in any kit/ product that would help.

The first new product will be an increased level of service from Windrush.
Over the past few years we have been turning away an increasing number of customers who approach Windrush looking for medium and high end 915 transmission builds. Without the manpower to complete work like this, we have re-directed willing customers to other reputable shops around the country - even other countries. Adding Tyson will allow us to accept this work and deliver a lot more WEVO prepared 915 transmissions. We have a bunch of other projects lined up that Tyson will participate in developing, but part of the reason to bring him to Windrush was to complete these projects in a more compressed time frame and keep them secret until they were closer to production release. Creativity has never been an issue for us, funding R&D and expediting the product development to production is where we are stalled by our limited manpower and facilities. 2006 sees the addition of more shop space and more equipment, so I am eager to see what we can do with the additional creative man hours each week and more immediate access to development and testing of ideas. Regards Hayden |

I'll echo that on a 6 speed in a 4speed 915 gear box. or something to stiffen targa's and Cabs without installing a full roll cage. preferably bolt in.
